Not all criminal cases make it to trial. Some areas in the country can settle before a trial through something called a plea bargain.

What is the difference between a civil case and a criminal case?

The main difference between a civil case and a criminal case is a civil case has to do with disputes between organizations. Whereas a criminal case involved actions that are deemed harmful to society. Below are some examples of each type of case.

Courthouse records to locate civil and criminal data
