Every thought about the different ways to check out your neighbors? Have you ever wanted to find out more information about your neighbors because you think something is not right?

Did someone new just move in next to you and you want to find out more about them?

If so, this guide will show you some of the ways you can find information about the people in your neighborhood by accessing data directly online.

Finding data about someone isn’t that difficult when using technology like public records search tools, or criminal record search checks.

The biggest issue may be finding the neighbors name to start the search in the first place. That will not be a problem.z

We will show you how to find your neighbor’s name also. Once you have this information there are a few ways to check out your neighbors directly online.

We have heard of these terrible stories of kids going missing, or kids being found years later only to be found within a mile of there home held hostage by there captures.

Sex offenders around your neighborhood could give anyone with kids nightmares. These are just some of the reasons that someone would want to know who is around them in there neighborhood.

How to Find a Neighbors Name

If you don’t currently know the name of a neighbor and many people nowadays do not.

Times have changed when the time of walking over to a neighbor to borrow an egg or sugar is almost a think of the past.

More commonly neighbors may wave and go on with there day. So finding a name may be the first step in the process.

County Property Appraiser Website

Real estate records will provide the name of the owner of the house. Assuming the neighbor isn’t renting and owns the home you can find this data.

Search in google the following search string: “County property Appraiser” replace county with your county. Almost every county appraisers website will allow you to search home records directly online.

You can search for your house directly.  From the search look for a map of the area.

Click the map and now you can navigate to each house and see who owns it. Including your neighbors.

Once you click on your neighbor’s house from the property appraisers website you will find the owners name, address, and other information like home sales.

Access the white pages online

Head over to the white pages and do a reverse street address search on yourself. From there click on your name which will give you a more detailed view of your address and name.

Under this view, you should see a tab titled “Neighbors” This tab will show you details of all your neighbors with addresses, names, and even phone numbers.

Run a Public Records Check

Running a public records search can help you find a lot of information about someone and it’s considered another great way to check out your neighbors.

There are over 325 million people within the United States, this means that there are a lot of data to search.

Using a search service that specializing is searching for and fining records will not only help in cutting down the amount of time this could take, but it also lets the user view this records in an easy to view a single report.

Check Sex Offender National Website

Sex offenders have to register with the National Offenders website. This list is kept up-to-date and is a good free resource that everyone should check to see if any sex offenders are living around or even in there neighborhood. Do not be surprised to see a map with offenders living close by.

Check NextDoor, this website connects neighbors by sharing events, and recommendations. Examples would be block parties, PTA updates and more. You could find out a great deal on neighbors within your area by searching and using NextDoor.

Google them

Looking for more ways to check out your neighbors? Google them. This is an easy and free method and you could find some low hanging fruit right off the bat once you find the name to search.

Also, try searching images in google image. You can find different types of content on the person your looking for. A lot of social profiles and pictures can be found this way, in return, you could learn more about the neighbor in question.

Reverse address search lookup

Perform a reverse address search once you know the address of the neighbor in question.  This can be done by using a search service that has these types of capabilities.   You can also search public records online to find out who owns the property.

Do you Notice Odd Behavior by a Neighbor?

If you are experiencing odd behavior by a neighbor it may be wise to find out more by searching any of the above methods to find out more about the person.  Seeing stuff with your own eyes can be all that is needed to know something is not right with the people around you.  Different cars or people coming and going at all times of the day or night could be a red flag.

You can never be too careful especially when kids are involved. Follow your gut and use these ways above to check out your neighbors.   it could protect you and your family.
