MNCIS – Trial Court Public Access Websites for Minnesota

The below information will explain what the MNCIS court access system is and how you can use it to access trial court docket information to find criminal and civil court cases information directly online. This cost-effective method is a good way to find public record data in Minnesota. When accessing these records from the MNCIS system users can search and access from the Court of Appeals or Supreme Court Case Records, and from the Minnesota District Court Case Search (Trail) courts.

How to search for MNCIS court records

Keep in mind that when you search from this system the data is not official court records and is provided as a service to help find Minnesota public records. The Minnesota Judaical Branch will not certify MPA remote records or results. They are not responsible for errors or omissions of the data found on MPA remote.

MPA is the public version to view the Minnesota Court Information System or the MNCIS. The MPA remote contains the following types of data from the MNCIS system. When available you could find the following public case information:

  • Criminal records
  • Petty case records
  • Traffic records
  • Civil case records
  • Family case records
  • Probate case records
  • Judgement searches
  • Court Calendar searches
