The United States has seen its gun violence climb year after year with mass shootings and individual homicides on a yearly basis. Did you know that almost every day 100 people are killed by a firearm in the United States? Another startling fact is that gun violence is the second leading cause of death among children and teens. And the number one cause of death in black children and teens. Mass shootings are also up with school shootings happening way too often. Gun violence in the United States is a major and growing problem that only seems to be getting worse.
